No. The playpen does not fold down like some of our other playpens. This playpen features push fit components so it comes down exactly as you put it up, piece by piece. If you want to take it down after each use you absolutely can, it's pretty quick to do. All you have to consider is where to keep the panels, the good thing about this design is that as they aren't connected, you don't have to worry about finding a big bulky space, you can split the panels up and maybe slide them under or behind the couch!

This is not an actual size as I had to remove a few panels to git into the limited space took over by our tree.. The whole playoen IS ACTUALLY MORE THAN THAT in the picture however the best thing about this playpen is that it doesnt have any stickers and can well be STRUCTURED into any SIZED reasonable shape with the panels.Super fast delivery and arrived in a very neat package.. Easy to put together with suction cups at the feet of each panel. Sturdy enough. Pleased with the product, however it would have been nicer to get the mat with it..
